The Ranch is Born
Maria Thompson opens a small pizza kitchen on Lincoln Road, Bettendorf. The first wood-fired oven is lit and the first pizza is served to a handful of neighbors who become lifelong fans.
Dine-In Opens
After years of takeout success, Pizza Ranch opens its first full dine-in dining room. Families flock in for weeknight dinners, and the famous Ranch Buffet makes its debut on Fridays.
Award-Winning Menu
Pizza Ranch wins the Iowa Food Excellence Award for Best Local Pizza. New signature recipes — including the legendary BBQ Brisket Ranch Pizza — are added to the permanent menu.
